Hello and welcome to all of our players, coaches and supporters of junior cricket!
Here is some important information to help you through the season. We always update our social media sites with any information about games, our representative teams, and any other relevant information throughout the season

Draws for your games have been published and can be found online at http://crjca.nsw.cricket.com.au/common/pages/public/rv/draw.aspx?entityid=12773&id=RVFIXTURE
These draws can be updated and its best to check them weekly, however your club will communicate any changes.
Player safety is our main concern at CRJCA and our policy is very clear regarding wet weather. If Clarence Valley Council closes the grounds then play DOES NOT go ahead. These are published daily at 3pm. Your club will be notified if the grounds are closed and they will communicate with you.
In the event that wet weather occurs after 3pm then it up to coaches on whether the game can safely go ahead. You will be advised as soon as possible if this occurs.
We also post wet weather information on our social media sites and website. The local radio is also advised.
CRJCA is guided by the Country Cricket NSW Extreme Heat Policy which can be found under Community Coaching on our website. It states that if the "feels like" temperature on your phone says 43 degrees or above, play must stop.
Junior cricket uses grounds in both Grafton and South Grafton. If you are unsure of the address you can find the details on our website under the GROUNDS tab or save this link to your device for future reference.
COACHING AND CHILD SAFETY
Child safety is of upmost importance and all CRJCA coaches must have a current Working With Childrens Check to be able to coach your child. We follow and are mandated by the Cricket Australia Child Safe Policy. You can find further information on our website. IF you have any concerns about child safety please do not hesitate to contact our Conference Administrator Janet on 0427422243.
Our rules and bylaws are in the process of being updated to match the changes to the local competitions in line with Cricket NSW standards. Our constitution can be found on our website.
VOLUNTEERING AND PARENT HELP
At CRJCA and every club, we encourage parental involvement both on and off the field. All clubs will appreciate assistance at game times, with coaching and committee roles. Running cricket teams can be very time consuming if left to a few volunteers and all clubs will be grateful for help you can offer. Please consider offering to help if you are able.
We are looking forward to a successful season with lots of fun and learning new skills along the way!
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your club and/or Janet Grieve.
